GPFA Honourable Company of Gloucestershire Award

The GPFA Honourable Company of Gloucestershire Awards are administered by the GPFA on behalf of The Honourable Company of Gloucestershire.

If you are talented at sport/parasport, or know someone who is, then these awards will be of interest to you. Successful applicants are given a grant of £500 from the scheme to help meet their training and equipment costs.

To be eligible for the award you should:

  • Be aged 15 to 19 years on 1st September 2025
  • Have outstanding achievement in your sport/parasport and have attained (or have the potential to attain) national and/or international standard in your sport
  • Be resident within the county boundaries of Gloucestershire or South Gloucestershire
  • Have not received an award in previous years

Nominations must be supported by your coach, instructor or relevant sports governing body.

Past winners have come from a wide range of sports/parasports including skiing, BMX, archery, frame running, athletics, snooker, squash, boxing, cricket, football and hockey, to name but a few.

The deadline for submitting nominations is Friday 5 September 2025 (midnight).
